[After the announcements, Raven isn't in his usual spot in the lobby. Instead, if Claude goes looking for him, he'll find him, weirdly, hanging out on the roof of the Planetarium, watching everyone else run about.]
(Interesting. It's a day of people not being where they would usually be...
Of course, Claude goes looking for Raven and it doesn't take him too long. From down below, he places a hand on his hip and looks up patiently. He knows he doesn't have to say anything. It's clear he wants to talk and he'll wait here all day if he has to.
[SIGHS. Well, he can't really begrudge anyone wanting to talk after an announcement like that, so he gives in fairly quickly, and drops down to the ground with a grace and ease that seems in directly conflict with his constant complaining about being old and decrepit.]
(Yeah, he'd kind of suspected something was up the moment he saw him up there. Now he knows there's a little more here than he'd originally though. He cracks a half smile at Raven, raising a brow before quickly wiping that smile off his face to focus on more pressing matters,)
Got that right. It's not usually how I start off my mornings.
I didn't, but the fact that any of you kids are dead is worth worryin' over. [If this were home, it would be sad but unexpected. These things happen. Here though;]
Can't fathom who would have a reason ta kill someone when we've barely been here a week.
(And he wants everyone to know that. Even if they'd only met briefly, he'd been able to tell that much.)
Do you think there was a reason? (Who is he kidding? There's always a reason, even if it's not a very good one.) We'll have to find out why before this happens again.
Ya mean besides all the doors locking? Because I sure noticed that. Me, Sora, Renzou, and Shigeo got stuck in the lobby. Couldn't leave the inn and couldn't get into any of the rooms either.
I was in my room so I didn't notice. Lup left but I fell asleep before she came back. (Which is a little strange but maybe he was more tired than he realized?) I didn't wake up until around the same time as everyone else... which is later than than usual.
When there are so many things we don't know, you have to wonder why. We all knew something was up with this place but we didn't know what-- we still don't know-- but it looks like we're going to start finding out.
Some things you're better off not knowin'. One day you'll find something out that you wish ya didn't. But we have to at least figure out who killed miss Hajime.

Raven has to come down eventually.)

You didn't notice anything strange, did you?

(Someone's an early riser.)

[This was almost like a vacation until someone got murdered, really.]

(#Throwback)
The morning is the best time to meditate and reflect before starting the day.
(And you know, scheming chaos.)

[He seems like a diligent guy who's playing close to his chest.]
What's there ta reflect on in a situation like this with so many unknown factors, though?

(What else is there to reflect on!)
