[at SOME point!!]

Yes, that's correct.

[she supposes that much is obvious, though her expression turns thoughtful as she tilts her head back]

. . . I do not remember having a family before them. My childhood was-- [hm] I had no name of my own, merely a title passed onto me by my mentor. I was simply "Kreuger," or the "Severing Chains," whichever captured another's fancy more.

[is she. going to explain what "Severing Chains" means??? hm???]

The Chairman-- Lady Irina-- is the one who named me "Sharon," the day she found me and offered me a position as a maid in her home.

[it's fine!! don't ask questions. it's all good]

[but there's actually a. . . pause, before Sharon doesn't answer that question and just gives Schwann a secretive little smile]

I would not say it's "cowardly." I believe that we all need someone in life to guide us in some form or manner. We aren't meant to be lonely creatures, after all.

[haha. . . ha. but, even so. . . her eyes slip shut, almost thoughtful, as she folds her hands into her lap]

But in the end, the only one who can decide what is best for ourselves is ourselves. No matter what.

[that draws a serene smile from Sharon, who then reaches out to place a hand on his shoulder]

Of course. If anything happens to you, I will be here to catch you.

[he may not pass out, but the moment he begins to sway, Sharon reaches out to place a hand on his shoulder to keep him upright. just in case! and while his physical appearance doesn't change, his posture and demeanor shift enough that it is very, very notable]

[when he is stable again, she withdraws, and presses a hand against her mouth to hide her smile]

Oh no, I wouldn't say "good riddance." I enjoyed Master Schwann's company just as much as I enjoy Master Raven's.

[BUT?? EVEN SO??]

Welcome back, Master Raven.
