[SHE DOES NOT KNOW ABOUT IT, SO YEAH, SHE THINKS HE'S JUST BEING DRAMATIC?? SYMBOLIC?? I'm sorry Schwann]
Heehee. . . well.
[well! this isn't something she feels as though she can share with just. . . anyone, really. Soo-Won was the only person she had ever allowed to be privy to her past and private life. but there's something about the way Schwann talks that makes her want to be a little more honest. . . if only for this conversation]
I suppose it's only fair I tell you now that I've made that statement.
[she supposes that much is obvious, though her expression turns thoughtful as she tilts her head back]
. . . I do not remember having a family before them. My childhood was-- [hm] I had no name of my own, merely a title passed onto me by my mentor. I was simply "Kreuger," or the "Severing Chains," whichever captured another's fancy more.
[is she. going to explain what "Severing Chains" means??? hm???]
The Chairman-- Lady Irina-- is the one who named me "Sharon," the day she found me and offered me a position as a maid in her home.
[Schwann looks contemplative for a long moment, because wow, yeah. He can guess the severing chains thing has to do with those wires they suspected had been used in the murder? Or around it. It's fine.]
And you're happier now as "Sharon," yes? With your new family.
[Turning the clock over in his free hand, closing his eyes for a moment.]
I just wish someone would tell me what I should do. Is that cowardly of me?
[but there's actually a. . . pause, before Sharon doesn't answer that question and just gives Schwann a secretive little smile]
I would not say it's "cowardly." I believe that we all need someone in life to guide us in some form or manner. We aren't meant to be lonely creatures, after all.
[haha. . . ha. but, even so. . . her eyes slip shut, almost thoughtful, as she folds her hands into her lap]
But in the end, the only one who can decide what is best for ourselves is ourselves. No matter what.
[Hm. Alright, message received. She understands where he's coming from, but she also won't make the decision for him. That's fair, he supposes. But she's also not telling him not to, so.]
Can I ask you to keep an eye on me for a bit, then? [In case using this item knocks him the fuck out.]
[Nice!!! Well with that, he puts his PHS down so he can use both hands to activate the clock.
He doesn't pass out per se, but he does seem to get dizzy for a couple seconds with the influx of memory, so it's probably good he's sitting down. He takes a couple more seconds to get his bearings, rub at his face. He obviously doesn't like... physically change, though the expression on his face is a little less overwhelmingly melancholy, his posture more slouchy. Even with his hair still down, he seems to be more "Raven" than he was before. He'll flash Sharon a smile before picking up his PHS again.]
Thanks, Sharon. Good riddance to that guy, if you ask me.
[he may not pass out, but the moment he begins to sway, Sharon reaches out to place a hand on his shoulder to keep him upright. just in case! and while his physical appearance doesn't change, his posture and demeanor shift enough that it is very, very notable]
[when he is stable again, she withdraws, and presses a hand against her mouth to hide her smile]
Oh no, I wouldn't say "good riddance." I enjoyed Master Schwann's company just as much as I enjoy Master Raven's.

But I did not always go by the name "Sharon."
no subject
But. Hm. Well, he's surprised, sure, But at the same time, it sort of makes sense? Sharon is obviously not just an ordinary maid.]
From your family?
[The one she technically works for, you know.]
no subject
Yes, that's correct.

Of course. If anything happens to you, I will be here to catch you.

Welcome back, Master Raven.
